Do you know the secret to catching them, even late in the season? Is it the bait? The trap? The boat? Yes, it all plays a part, but the biggest factor is crab when the crab can find you. Strong currents make it hard for crab to move so if you are crabbing during a huge tidal swing, chances are you will have little to know catch.

A slack tide is your friend and will bring in abundant catches. So...be a slacker.
